Ken Anderson has over 25 years experience in the healthcare industry. He was asked by Tony Blair, to begin the privatisation based NHS reforms. In 2007 he joined UBS Investment Bank as a Managing Director.

  1. There is an interesting article by him in the Guardian, that he wrote in 2009 which is a response to Polly Toynbee’s article on a treatment centre programme.

    Pretty interesting stuff.

    • Yes that’s right.

      She argues it was a bit of a disaster, but actually before this, the NHS often purchased various surgeries at twice the normal price.

      So if this was the only issue, the ISTCs have saved the taxpayer hundreds of millions of pounds.
